It has been such beautiful weather here this fall...including that entire week of rain. Since we finished up school and had to run an errand in town, it just made sense to stop by one of the trails to do a nature walk. The little guy requested a nature bingo sheet for him to mark. We decided to take Lucy with us...but she needs more training on the leash. For the first half of the walk, she'd whine-bark at others on the trail. We spent an hour looking and finding. We covered over a mile and a half with no complaints! I'm thinking we should do these walks more often. It was peaceful to get some fresh air and not feel rushed. Then we made a stop at the farmer's market to pick out our (yearly) pumpkins. The youngest chose three small ones. The girl chose a nice, medium traditional one. The oldest decided on a bundle of Indian corn. And I picked out a cotton candy pumpkin.
